The SIA Top-Up Training for Door Supervisors Upskilling Course is for anyone who is currently working as a Door Supervisor and needs to renew their licence on or after 1st October 2021.

The new changes introduced to SIA Licensing in April 2021 mean licensed security professionals are now required to take a 2 day Top-Up Upskill Training to make sure they have this knowledge when renewing their SIA Licence.

That’s because Top-Up Training for an SIA Licence includes new content, based on new skills needed in modern security work.

You’ll pass your Top-Up Training course with a mix of home work, 2 days classwork then written exams, as well as practical assessments where you demonstrate the skills you’ve learned.

First Aid Requirements for an SIA Top-Up Course:

Candidates must also be qualified in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or higher prior to starting your Top-up. Your certificate must be EFAW or higher, if you already have one check make sure it’s valid for over 12 months from the start date of the course. We can provide Emergency First Aid training booked as a separate course.
